In October 2023, Michael’s Paving took on an exciting challenge: a 400-ton asphalt parking lot pavement job for a prominent HVAC business in New Jersey. Ripping Up the Past:
The project commenced with the removal of a large dirt area earmarked for the parking lot expansion. Our skilled team efficiently executed this by employing precise techniques to ensure a smooth transition from dirt to a solid foundation. The dirt was replaced with a base layer of high-quality millings, meticulously laid to support the weight and traffic the parking lot would bear. Proper compaction of the millings was crucial, ensuring a stable and durable foundation for the upcoming pavement.
Milling for Resurfacing:
A significant part of the project involved resurfacing existing areas. Our team employed advanced milling techniques to remove the old blacktop, making way for a fresh layer.
